OFF-ICE TRAINING
The sport of figure skating puts significant strength and flexibility demands on the body. Off-ice physical training is designed to reduce risk of injury, build a strong muscular foundation, and maximize potential. The addition of off-ice training will help skaters achieve their on-ice skills at a faster pace, and will help them to handle the physical and mental demands of jumping, spinning and performing longer programs. The off-ice schedule has been designed to complement your on-ice sessions.
As with on-ice programs, session space is allocated on a first-come first-served basis. We recommended you register for your off-ice programs while registering for your on-ice sessions. Off-ice program schedules are subject to change. As with on-ice sessions, skaters need to attend the session for which they are registered, and if you miss a class, drop-ins to other classes cannot be accommodated.
